1891 Highland Park and Fruit Vale RR $500 Bond Certificate. This scarce Oakland, California trolley certificate features unusual vignette of double decker trolley. This unusual height-saving design, placed the upper longitudinal seats directly on the first deck roof with a hangover built out over the letter board for the walkway to the seats. This walkway terminated in spiral staircases to an open center platform. VF+ condition. Cox II estimated value is $400.
